The 16th State Level School Olympic Athletic Championship – 2024 took place on the 26th and 27th of July at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The event featured an opening ceremony on the 26th at 10:30 a.m., graced by esteemed guests including Sri Ramalinga Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Transport & Muzrai Dept., and Smt. Sowmya Reddy, Ex-MLA and General Secretary of the All India Mahila Congress of Karnataka, among others. The championship also honored notable athletes such as Kum. Rakshita Raju, a Gold Medalist at the Asian Para Games, and Sri Arya S., a National Gold Medalist in Long Jump. Organized by the Youngsters Sports Promoters Trust under the guidance of Sri Ramesh N.R., the event was a significant gathering of athletic talent and sportsmanship, with warm welcomes extended to all executive members and organizing committee members.
